Fixing your Bad Hair Day

Plenty of women think that us men don't bother much about our hair. The truth is men spend time fixing their hair too no matter how short they have.

There are times or should I say plenty of times when we go to a new barber shop or salon to make ourselves look nicer but go home with a horrible hair. Darn, that's such a bad hair day. I've been there a lot of times. It made me curse my barber and swear not to go back there forever.

And as you go to your room and start improvising ways to make it at least better, you found out that it's too late. So here are some suggestions to aid your bad hair day.

Choose a New Style
First and foremost, it may be your fault that you have that unacceptable hairstyle. Maybe because you are too confident that your favorite movie star's hair cut would suit you well too. It doesn't mean that if he looks good with it, you will too. You can ask your hairstylist for recommendations cause they sure know what cut matches your face shape but the final answer is still yours to do. Exploring new looks is not that bad.

Try another Salon
If you doubt the credibility of your hairstylist, it is best to pay the salon and walk out with matching slam of the door. Go to another salon at the other side of the street or go to the salon that your friend has been talking about. Just pray that this time it will be better.

Cut it Shorter
The number one option you can choose is to choose a shorter hairstyle. If you have a long hair, maybe try to shorten it to medium length. If you have medium length, might as well try a shorter cut and maybe you will love it. Lucky are you if it can still be shortened.

Bold and Bald
Did you forget that you are not born to cut and style hair? You really think you can do better than that barber did? Well, at least now you can blame yourself for that terrible hair cut you made. There are only few remedies left in that case and one of them is to shave it all off. Show your healthy scalp. Bald head is not that bad. It will actually help you make a don't-laugh-at-my-hair-or-else-I-will-crush-you image like those of the street bullies.

Hide it
If you cannot do the latter, the last option you have is to put a cover on it. A cap or a bonnet will do just fine. But expect that you can't survive the day without getting your hat stolen by your curious friends. Along with wearing that hat is wearing your confidence also. And to get that confidence, you must learn to accept it as it is. Try to laugh at yourself in front of the mirror and get used to it.
